Strong to severe storms possible overnight, early Tuesday morning.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed Champaign-Urbana and surrounding portions of eastern Illinois in a 'Slight Risk' for strong to severe thunderstorms on their most recent Day 1 Outlook. The risk for C-U will be overnight tonight, as scattered thunderstorms develop across central Illinois, bringing along the risk for large hail. Time frame for any strong to severe storms in our area looks to be late tonight, between 9 PM tonight and 6 AM tomorrow morning.
