CU dodges another severe weather bullet!

Champaign-Urbana dodged a bullet yesterday! I caught this tornado near Interstate 80 in northern Illinois - and other tornadoes touched down as close as Pontiac well into the night. The storm complex passed just to our north last night, as I thought it may end up doing, which spared us from any potentially damaging weather. There was quite a lightning show around Midnight if you were awake and took a peek out the window! Thank you as always for taking the forecast seriously!
