Strong/Severe Storms Possible Thursday Afternoon

The Storm Prediction Center has upgraded Champaign-Urbana and portions of eastern/southern Illinois to an 'Enhanced Risk' for strong to severe thunderstorms. Potential hazards will be primarily very large hail and gusty winds with the strongest storms, but an isolated tornado or two is also possible in the Enhanced Risk region.
